ATSF 1480 Class Pack

- The Santa Fe 1480 Class 4-4-2 Atlantic was built in 1910 by the Baldwin Locomotive works. They were built with 3 domes, a Jacobs-Shupert firebox and a four-cylinder compound engine. Later on, 14 of these engines were converted into superheated steam locomotives with two cylinders of the same size from 1920 onwards. 23 Atlantics were built for light passenger service and were nicknamed "Bull Moosers" among their crews. They proved a very handy size for branch-line local passenger service. They lasted until 1953, the first being decommissioned in 1926. All locomotives were scrapped leaving not a single one in preservation. These models represent the later builds in their service carriers. Including a fictional excursion/preserved version. These models are fully textured and have ARN No.1483-1498.
